Mason Invitational Results….Week Three Update!

In another highly competitive meet with several State ranked teams, along with dealing with muddy course conditions, the Crusader Cross Country Team finished 4th of 17 teams with 191 points at the Mason Invitational hosted at Corwin-Nixon Park in Mason, Ohio on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

For the Varsity race, Junior Luke Long was Moeller's top finisher in 27th place in 17:37 (out of 142 runners). Also scoring: Junior Hayden Sorg (30th – 17:44), Junior Jacob Jankowski (31st – 17:47), Sophomore Michael Becker (46th – 18:13), and Junior Murphy Maynes (74th – 18:45). Rounding out Varsity were Noah Stullberg, Jackson Rechtstein, Logan Todd, Dominic Broek, and Lucas Thompson.

In the JV/Open race, that squad finished 12th of 17 teams with 301 points. Crossing the life first for Moeller was Freshman Grady Kloesz in 71st place in 19:58 (out of 405 runners). Also scoring were Nicholas Nedzel, Mateo Carrelli, Andrew Bedel, and Gabriel Angeles.

The team returns to racing on Saturday, September, 19th, 2026, with a split squad with the Varsity squad running in the Troy Twi-Light Invitational at Troy Stadium in Troy, Ohio with a 9:30pm start; while the Junior Varsity squad will be running at the Kings Invitational at Kingswood Park in Mason.
