The Crusaders fought hard but fell just short on Thursday night at Paycor Stadium.
Big Moe led 14-10 at the end of the third quarter, but struggled to hold the Vikings in check after that.
Princeton scored 21 unanswered to take a late commanding lead, however the Crusaders didn't give up.
Moeller would score two more times to make it interesting late, but it proved to not be enough.
Junior QB
Nick Monserez got his first start finishing 14-27 for 180 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 INT.
On the ground, the combination of
Juice Glover-Brown and
Greylo Coach led the way for the Crusaders.
They combined for 26 carries, 136 yards rushing, and 1 touchdown (Greylo).
Senior wide receiver
Reggie Watson led Big Moe through the air finishing with 6 catches for 84 yards.
On defense,
Paxton Dodsworth led the team in tackles finishing with 9 total tackles and 3 solo.
Julian Dwyer had a very dominant showing on Thursday night finishing with a big sack and several pressures.
The defense held up for most of the evening before things began to go south in the fourth quarter.
This is the first time since 1991 that the King Of The Block trophy won't be returning to Big Moe.
