The Moeller basketball program earned a significant milestone Friday night in a victory over host Walnut Hills.
Moeller earned win No. 1,000 as a program in the 42-41 overtime win over the Eagles.
Moeller has a 1,000-479 record overall since the varsity basketball program started in the 1962-63 season.
The Crusaders were once again led by freshman
Jayden Davis, who finished with a team high 13 points.Â
Davis was 4-8 from the field, 4-6 from the free throw line, grabbed 6 rebounds, and added two steals.

Carson Trenz was 2 points and a rebound shy of a double double with 8 and 9.Â
On defense, it was a complete team effort, holding the eagles to just 14 second half points.Â
Big Moe was able to outlast Walnut an escape with a dramatic overtime road victory.
Moeller will close out their regular season against powerhouse Louisville Trinity on Saturday, February 21.
