Big Moe visited Tanks Memorial Stadium in Ironton, Ohio this past Saturday for a showdown with Mt. Carmel (IL).
The Crusaders fell short in the 4th quarter losing in the final seconds on a very close 2pt conversion call.
Senior QB
Matt Ponatoski had an excellent day despite the loss finishing 19-30 for 287 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Carson Khayo was the top receiving target for Ponatoski, finishing with 9 receptions for 191 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Freshman
Jayden Davis saw his first varsity action of the season and caught a 17 yard strike for his first Moeller touchdown.
On defense, the Crusaders were led by
Andrew Stofko who finished the afternoon with 7 tackles to lead Big Moe.
Kayleb Willis had the play of the game late in the first picking off the Carmel QB for a 24 yard

Next up for Big Moe is their first home game at Mount St. Joseph University this season against Louisville Trinity.
