Moeller Football improves to (6-2), (2-1) in the GCL South!

Moeller jumps to (6-2), (2-1) in the GCL this season after a dominant performance Friday night at MSJ.
Senior QB #7
Matt Ponatoski was on target against the Wildcats, he finished 15-20 for 259 yards and 5 touchdowns.
On the year, Ponatoski is a remarkable 141-203 (69% completion percentage) for 1,684 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The Crusaders were paced on the ground by 4 different rushers each receiving 5 or more carries.
Senior #21
Dante Ware was leader on the ground for Big Moe finishing with 11 carries for 51 total yards.
Through the air Moeller was once again led by junior phenom WR #19
Reggie Watson.
Watson finished his night with a game high 8 receptions for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Special shout out to senior WR #1
Landen Adams, in his return he caught a beautiful 58 yard touchdown.
On defense, the Crusaders were led by senior LB #36
Conner Cuozzo who finished with 7 tackles, 4 solo.
Cuozzo also added one TFL for three yards and a rushing touchdown in the Moeller goal line package.
Big Moe finished with four TFL's, a fumble recovery, and multiple pass breakups against a good passing attack.

The Moeller defense was able to hold the Ignatius offense under 150 yards passing and rushing.
Next up for the Crusaders is a very tough road test at Cleveland, Ohio power St. Edward on Saturday, October 18.
Big Moe will need to carry this defensive execution over into this week if they want to leave Lakewood victorious.
