The Crusaders were back home Saturday night fresh off their trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Beach Ball Classic.Â
Moeller closed out that holiday road trip to Myrtle Beach with back to back wins over some very good out of state competition.
Big Moe's first game of the 2025 season was this past Saturday night vs. Ohio powerhouse Centerville.Â
The Crusaders and the Elks have had some absolute thrillers in the past, including last years double overtime regional final loss.
However, the Crusaders were able to right that wrong this time around, knocking off the Elks 65-58 in overtime.Â
Moeller was led once again by leading scorer
Alex Kazanecki and senior forward
Brady Franz added a game high 20 points.
Big Moe improves to (9-1) this season after the win, with just 12 games remaining the regular season.Â
Next up for the Crusaders is their first GCL South road test of the year at the Elder Panthers.Â
Match up is currently scheduled for this Friday, January 10 at 7:30pm. GO BIG MOE!!!Â
