The Moeller Crusaders went into enemy territory on Friday night and left with a HUGE win.
Big Moe defeated rival St. Xavier in a shootout to improve to (4-1), (1-0) in the GCL South.
With the win, Coach Bathiany improves to (3-0) against the Bombers in his Moeller coaching career.

Moeller got off to a slow start against St. Xavier Friday night as the Bombers came ready to play.
St. Xavier scored on the very first snap of the game, after a 80 yard touchdown run by quarterback Chase Herbstreit.
However, the Crusaders were quickly able to respond scoring 28 unanswered points before the end of the first quarter.
Junior QB
Matt Ponatoski was excellent one again finishing 18-25 for 321 yards and 6 touchdowns.
After his performance, Ponatoski is Moeller's NEW all-time leader in career passing yards (4,959) and career TD passes (50).
The junior signal caller also tied a single-game program record with his six touchdown passes against the Bombers.
Behind the play of their quarterback, the Crusaders did not look back after the slow start scoring 45 points.
On defense the Crusaders were led by
Griff Daley,
Jonah Hayes, and
Ricky Thomas, who all finished with a game high 6 tackles.
Moeller's havoc mob came up clutch as they were able to hold the Bombers out of the end zone on the final drive of the game.
