ARCHBISHOP MOELLER NAMES NEW HEAD VARSITY SWIM COACH

(CINCINNATI, OHIO – July 28, 2024) Moeller is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jonathan Bennett as the new head coach of the Moeller swim team. Coach Bennett brings a wealth of experience and a passion for swimming that promises to elevate our swim program to new heights.

Coach Bennett is currently an English teacher at Moeller and head coach for the Sharonville Sharks. His dedication to swimming started when he was seven years old and has evolved as he has found his way to coaching. His experience includes coaching at the high school and collegiate levels.

"We are excited to have Coach Bennett join the swim team," said Jonathan Hayes, Moeller's athletic director. "His dedication to the sport and commitment to the development of our student-athletes makes him the perfect fit for our swim program. We look forward to seeing our swimmers grow under his guidance."

"I am honored to continue my commitment to Moeller and work with such talented student-athletes," said Bennett. "I am eager to get started and help our swimmers achieve their personal and team goals. Together, we will strive for excellence both in and out of the pool."

Jonathan is a native of Cincinnati and a graduate of St. Xavier High School where he swam for four years and was a GCL All-Star. He lives in Sharonville with his wife, Nicole, and two kids, Charlotte and Henry.
