Moeller starts (1-0) in the GCL South after dropping Elder at home. #GoBigMoe

The Crusaders did not look like themselves early on in this GCL South matchup.

Moeller struggled to score and found themselves down by 4 at the break trailing 22-18. 

After trailing Elder 34-26 with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter, the game was completely flipped. 

Big Moe went on to outscore Elder 22-0 the rest of the way including a 17-0 4th quarter explosion. 

The Crusaders were lead by senior Noah George, who finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds. 

Junior Alex Kazanecki was also excellent down the stretch adding 16 points and three BIG 3 pointers. 

Moeller's late game defense was the difference in deciding the outcome of this one. 

The Crusaders made everything for Elder tough and limited the number of extra possessions by winning the backboards. 

The guys will look to keep it rolling next week at St. Xavier.
