Moeller soccer prevailed this past Tuesday against a very tough Sycamore squad. With the win, Moeller advances to the District Finals this Saturday. 

In 49 years of Moeller soccer, the Crusaders have advanced past the district finals stage 5 times. Moeller has advanced 2 out of the last 3 years. The previous years include 1994, 2010, 2015, 2018 and 2019. 

With a win on Saturday, it would mark the 7th 13+ win season in program history. In the last 4 years, Moeller has achieved that mark 3 of the 4 seasons with 14, 19, and 18 win totals.  

The Crusaders will put it all on the line Saturday when they take on a very impressive Anderson Raptors squad. 

Anderson is an undefeated (17-0-1), extremely talented team that values possession, defensive intensity, and can burn you quickly on the counter attack. 

They have only given up 12 goals in 18 games (7 shutouts), and have only allowed more than 1 goal in a game 1 time (St. X 2-2 tie). 

Anderson has one of the best, if not the best goalie in the region. On the counter, they explode offensively with discipline and look to link up with some of their top guys who are the real deal at finishing off goals.   

It will be an extremely tough matchup for the Crusaders, and they know they will need to get to work at training over these next 3 days to prepare for their shape/style of play.
